Description: Defensive Driver Certification Training is a video-based training program designed for drivers of Hampshire College vehicles.  Coaching the Van Driver III includes information on conducting a vehicle inspection, safe driving skills, driving environments, and special considerations.

This course fulfills the requirement for becoming an approved driver of Hampshire College vehicles.

In order to be permitted to drive Hampshire College vehicles transporting students you must complete the electronic form at: https://www.fivecolleges.edu/riskmgmt/policies/driver_credentialing

After completing the form you will be given an automated response. Please print the email response and bring it to your scheduled class.

You will not be permitted to take this class on the date you have been scheduled without providing the Instructor with proof of the automated email response you received after submitting the Risk Management Credentialing request application.

Class will meet at 10:00 a.m. in the RCC Conference Room at the Robert Crown Center. 

OPRA trip/class cancellation policy is as follows:

• All participants who notify the OPRA Instructor or Teamsports Administrator prior to the registration deadline will be refunded trip/class payment.
• For Hampshire Students who cancel after the registration deadline or do not attend the day of the trip/class, you will not be refunded payment made and will additionally be charged a $10 cancellation fee to your Student Account.
• For Hampshire Faculty, Staff and non-Hampshire Students the trip/class payment made is non-refundable.

All OPRA events are substance-free.
