"You Should Know Some Union Songs!" Sing-Along Friday 4:00-5:30

Come sing union songs and anti-fascist songs to close out the week and the semester. If you have them, you are welcome to bring instruments, songs to request, and songs to teach. No experience required!

This event is organized and led by Edwin Everhart, faculty at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Everhart is a co-founder of the Pittsburgh Labor Choir (1) and an experienced song leader. Everhart believes in the collective power of getting everyone to sing together, especially with anti-fascist songs, union songs, and other movement songs. He co-organized the 2025 General Strike Song Contest (2), and also enjoys making other kinds of music - including a holiday album for Groundhog Day (3). Everhart is also a cultural and linguistic anthropologist who studies language standardization (4).
