5 Weekly Grocery Shopping Vans to Stores in Hadley

The weekly grocery vans have COVID-19 safety restrictions in place, including decreased capacity.

FRIDAY 3:00PM AND 4:00PM 
SATURDAY 10:30AM

Only 3 students will be permitted to use the service at a time and must follow the guidelines outlined below. The vans will be disinfected before and after all trips. Students should meet at the van at the scheduled time, which leaves from the small parking lot behind Cole Science across the street from the Cultural Center, it’s the parking lot for the Hampshire College Pool vehicles.  The van will only go to one, possibly two different stores.  The service is 'First Come First Seated.' Thank you for understanding the limitations in passenger numbers, we are committed to helping students access local shopping. If winter weather creates unsafe driving conditions, the van service will be cancelled.

College Van and Transportation Guidelines

Limit - 1 passenger per seat row.

General Guidelines:

• Masks to be worn at all times by all passengers (and driver).
• Hand Sanitizer to be used immediately prior to entering the vehicles.
• All passengers and drivers must have successfully completed the COVID-19 Daily Self Check without any concerns raised prior to entering the vehicle.
• Windows must remain partially open during transport. Note: There are no windows in back of vans.
• If travel time is greater than 15 minutes and passengers are sitting closer than 6 feet apart, participants need to be made aware that their fellow passengers will be considered close contacts.
