FPH West Lecture Hall

Reception outside the lecture hall at 4:15 pm

The whole community is invited to this lecture by Daniel Nocera, this year's distinguished Five College Chemistry Lecturer. Prof. Nocera is renowned for his work in renewable generation of hydrogen--a clean fuel--from light and water. He has discovered some of the most economical and powerful catalysts known for this transformation, and has incorporated them into small-scale bionic devices that sustainably produce fuel and fertilizer from atmospheric CO2 and nitrogen with efficiencies surpassing those in nature. Open to the public.
