Want to make the campus shine for commencement (and beyond)? By popular demand the Faculty/Staff Spring Service Day, facilitated by SAC and the Facilities and Grounds department, is back after a 3-year break and will take place next Friday, May 13 from 9 am - noon.

Participation is optional but highly encouraged; please check in with your supervisor before signing up to make sure there isn’t something essential during that time that cannot be missed. If you can only make it for an hour or two, please drop that information in the sign-up sheet.

Please sign up by Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1o71yukC6cZ9ty2qPPWsjTt3UBOnMzMX9aoTRbQxcinU/edit?usp=sharing) so we can provide work gloves and tools for anyone who needs them. We welcome both folks with projects in mind (is there a patch of garlic mustard you really want to yank, or a weedy flower bed that needs some love?) and those who just want to help and will need direction. Family and friends are welcome, but must sign a waiver to participate.  

An email to those signed up with details will go out by noon on Wednesday, May 11.  Late sign-ups are welcome, but sign-ups on time are *greatly* appreciated for planning purposes (i.e., if we have people we know can put them in the ground, we can buy some nice durable perennials).

Note - this announcement is *not* going out to students; please communicate directly with Elizabeth (ecPP@hampshire.edu) if you have a student group that wants to participate or has a project they'd like help with.
