This is the time when layout occurs, this is the time the Omen is put into a form that is somewhat readable. It is the deadline for submissions! It is the birth of a new issue of the Omen!

And what an issue it is. The Omen is Hampshire's longest running (and currently the only) publication. We accept all submissions as long as they are not libelous or anonymous. And by all submissions we mean literally anything. Photos, art, creative writing, excellent papers you wrote for class (but want to share with the world), rants (political or otherwise), interesting articles about places to sleep around campus, bad fan fiction, good fan fiction, comics, you get the idea.

You don't have to come to layout to submit something, but if you come we will feed you and bombard you with love, memes, questionable music, and excellent conversation.

… Food, you say? Why yes, dinner will be provided during Omen Layout!

Meetings are every other Friday in the Merrill A basement and begins at 7:00 p.m. The official ending time is midnight, but it really just depends on how long layout takes. You can always send an email to omen@hampshire.edu to check if we're still there.
