Dear beloved loyal Omen Readers, Omen Submitters, and people who have not yet read or submitted to The Omen (what are you waiting for?),
Have you ever wanted to submit a photo, artwork, meme, or some other kind of image to the Omen, only to realize that your artistic vision could not be captured in the standard black-and-white? Have you ever picked up a copy of The Omen and wished that you can experience it in all the vibrant colors of the rainbow? Soon, you will be able to, because the next issue of The Omen will be the color issue! Any submissions from now until the printing of next issue will (unless otherwise specified) be printed in full color!
The color issue Layout will take place on Friday, April 21st in the Omen Office (which can be found in the Merrill A basement) at 7:00pm. If you need to be let in to Merrill, email omen@hampshire.edu, message our Discord server (https://discord.gg/FKR66vADWC), or text any of the signers (Jay: 508-981-1338, Leo: 469-525-5168, Nicholas: 347-634-0168)! We will still be accepting color submissions until the end of Monday the 24th, when we will be sending it to distribution for printing. If you want to submit something that will make the Hampshire community feel like a mantis shrimp, email your submission to omen@hampshire.edu anytime from now until the 21th (or 4/24 if you fucking).
Of course, we don't just like to look at pictures at The Omen, we also enjoy some writing, which doesn't really benefit too much from being in color. If you wish to submit writing, a picture that's already in black and white, or just anything suited for a normal, non-color Omen, we will also be printing part of the issue in black-and-white. Just mention that you want it in black-and-white in the email and we will make it so.
