Gathering to remember and celebrate Hakim Manji
Dear Hampshire Community,
Hakim Manji, a former student who left Hampshire in Fall 2022, passed away in late March in Los Angeles, California. As a campus community member, he impacted and influenced peers, faculty, and staff. Hakim lived his life with compassion, service, and dignity. Hakim had a deep love of art and was dedicated to serving his communities.
We invite everyone to join us on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. at the Enfield Fire Pit to remember and celebrate the life of Hakim Manji. Additionally, during this time of grief and remembrance, please remember there are a variety of services and resources available to assist students as they grieve. Students seeking support or help are encouraged to reach out to Counseling Services, 413-559-5458, the Dean of Students Office, deanofstudents@hampshire.edu and Campus Safety and Wellbeing, 413-559-5424 for any help and assistance.
