Food & Forage Tour
1 p.m. leaves from outside the R.W. Kern Center
Join Sustainable Hampshire for a walk around campus to visit free food and foraging sites. We'll visit the Community Garden, Greenwich Food Forest, Mixed Nuts, and check out the many apple trees offering delicious local fruit in October. These sites and more are featured on our new Campus Food Map, now on the Sustainable Hampshire website.
After the tour, head over to the Farm for the Fall Farm Festival; we'll bring you over if you aren't sure where to go!
This event is part of Hampshire's Friends & Family Weekend. Check out the other events and register here.
Access note: We are committed to providing universal access. Most of the tour sites are in relatively level grass areas, and we will move between sites on paved pathways. Expect about 1 mile total of moderate walking/movment for the full tour. If you have any access needs, please contact sdraper@hampshire.edu prior to the event to request access accommodations.
