Fantastic Friday Public Health Surveillance in the 21st Century w/Noelle Cocoros

This Friday, Feb 15th, Alum Noelle Cocoros (96F) presents Public Health Surveillance in the 21st Century

Noelle will describe the US FDA's Sentinel System for medical product safety surveillance and the MA Dept. of Public Health's ESP surveillance platform. 

Noelle studied molecular immunology at Hampshire with Chris Jarvis and Lynn Miller. She got her MPH and doctorate in epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health. She is a Research Scientist at the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute.

Fantastic Friday is a weekly seminar where either faculty, student(s), a class, or a visiting lecturer gives a presentation/talk about their research or other academic project. As the name implies, this takes place Fridays, from 12-1pm, in Cole Science Rm 333. Lunch is always provided; vegetarian, vegan, and GF options will be available.
