Join the Environmental Enigneering team (NS-215) during our final class of the semester as we assemble and test our 3D printed Drinking Water Treatment Plant!
We will walk you through the processes of coagulation and flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection. Our small scale treatment plant is similarly designed to the local drinking water treatment facilities throughout the US!
If the treatment plant is operating well enough- Dr. Johnston vows to drink 1 cup of water cleaned and purified from our drinking water treatment plant!
Fingers crossed that we did our math correctly!
Some snacks and refreshments will be available!
