The Blacksmith's Guild works to increase appreciation and practice of artistic and practical metalworking to the Hampshire community and beyond. We open up the shop for beginners to learn and work in a motivational and supportive environment. The Open Forge is our weekly meeting in which fellow students are welcome to come work on projects of their own devising but also to brainstorm new project ideas and get helpful tips along the way. Open Forge hours are Thursdays 6-8pm, come try out blacksmithing if you're interested! 

We work to revive the traditional craft and create a space in which individuals can immerse themselves in metal working. We do this through Open Forge meetings, demos from students and other community members, and offering literature. We hope to hold multiple events on Hampshire's campus bringing local blacksmiths to teach and demonstrate their skills.
