A discussion on historical and contemporary dimensions of antisemitism. The phenomenon of distrust and prejudice against Jews and Judaism dates from ancient times to the present, and contains both religious and secular elements. Antisemitism is present in majority-Christian, majority-Muslim, and supposedly secular societies, and co-exists with ideologies of the right and left. This event will discuss antisemitism from multiple disciplinary perspectives.
