Adisa Stewart (13F) graduated with a Somatics and Trauma major from Hampshire College with a concentration on Transformative Organizing and Healing Justice. He has been engaged in study and practitioner training of somatics through Generative Somatics' (GS) since 2014. Adisa utilizes somatics as a fundamental practice of building power, deepening physical presence, emotional capacity, and developing the embodied skills needed to generate large-scale change in a collective healing and social justice framework. Through conversations with Black Healers, Adisa has been writing a collection of reflections called, "emBODYing Black Liberation: Culturally Relevant Somatic Healing for All Black Lives.

The Alum 1-2-1 program is your chance to have a 30-minute informal conversation with a Hampshire alum. It's your chance to brainstorm, ask questions, and bounce ideas off alums who are spending their lives doing what they love. Use CORC's online scheduler found at to sign up for a 30-minute meeting with Adisa (scroll down and click the yellow "Schedule an Appointment" button). Be sure to include your division, phone number, and a brief note about your interests and questions.
